Let me just begin by saying that my love for Kat Von D has only grown since I joined the Sephora USA Team. I guess you could say Kat is my idol. She doesn't care what other people think of her. She does what she wants, she does it well and she does it with dignity.
There's a lot to be said about a woman who isn't afraid to sport facial tattoos in public. Even my mother would raise an eyebrow at those, but Kat doesn't care. Kat has confidence and, like she so profoundly put it in her Sephora "Adora" Tutorial Video, "Confidence is the sexiest attribute a woman can have."

1. Kat's Adora lipstick was made to look like the red, shiny wrapping paper on a Christmas present.
2. First tattoo was an Old English "J" on Kat's ankle, first tattoo crafted was a Misfits skull.
3. Kat loves candles, taxidermy, fast cars, shoes and Deadmau5 (they're engaged!).
4. This woman is busy! She's booked completely with a long waiting list for tattoos, has an art gallery, a clothing line and published a book called, "The Tattoo Chronicles".
5. Kat tat recipients include Lady GaGa, Beyonce, Steve-O, Jared Leto and Jenna Jameson.
